I have 17 years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels in ukulele, guitar (classical, acoustic, and electric), piano, banjo, voice, music theory, and songwriting. Marco William Duranti has been described as “a versatile musician, a classical guitarist who likes to look outside his window”. The gift of composition has led him to seek ideas outside the normal parameters of the classical guitar. His principal aim has always been to create new compositions for the classical guitar, rather than adaptations of music from other instruments or sources. He says “I like to implement and adapt ideas from the outside, mould them and make them a property of the guitar, rather than make the guitar a property of the transcription". At the same time, Duranti turns this idea on its head by taking ideas that come from the guitar and adapting them to other musical contexts. This is frequently his method in composing film scores or rock music. This approach comes from his early learning and family roots: his family were artist-artisans and had, as friends, opera, rock and classical musicians, painters and sculptors. He has an enduring love of 60's and 70's music of various styles, including the most beautiful period of classical music recordings. Duranti says he does not seek originality in music, but believes in the uniqueness of a composition stemming from many factors, including the character and ability of the performer. Duranti’s ideas are underpinned by a solid practical and theoretical education: he describes a “progressive and passionate study of music theory and the guitar” at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto under John Perrone and later in Rome under Mario Gangi. As a schoolboy, he also learned to play the blues from a street musician, giving him another perspective on the guitar. Duranti’s music career has suffered challenges and interruptions which have obliged him to explore new directions. He has made many original recordings, ranging from classical guitar to rock concept albums, and film music. He performed extensively in Italy for many years. Duranti says “this long journey is not over yet - I hope I will be able to produce more works and hopefully leave something worth mentioning!”

I have played the piano since the age of five. My B.Mus degree provided classical training in addition to studies in other music styles. I hold an Honours B.Mus degree for which I worked with children to provide a multimedia experience using a school classroom for the purpose. I spent 10 years as a lounge pianist touring South Africa and neighbouring countries. During this experience I embarked on my love of creativity through improvisation which I inspired to share with students. I have done a considerable amount of private piano teaching apart from class music teaching.

I am a music graduate from Oxford University and a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists. I have over 30 years experience of teaching all keyboard instruments (classical, jazz and pop) with many students gaining excellent results in ABRSM exams, and gaining music scholarships to major universities in the UK. I am happy to take on beginners and intermediate students as well as advanced, and happy to teach all ages. I also teach Theory of Music and have worked as an academic examiner in music. I teach in a school as Head of Keyboard Studies so I have all the necessary UK safeguarding training and my checks are up to date. I am available to teach most days and can be flexible. I am a passion young musician with not only formal but informal education and experience too. I started my music career in primary school learning the piano and continued on to study music at the Nelson Mandela University. I added vocals to my formal training at university to enhance my vocal ability classically. I was part of a choir since primary school through to university joung the international acclaimed Nelson Mandela University Choir as a tenor. I have freelanced since 2016 as a Vocalist for backing and lead for live concerts formal and informal settings, as a tutor to beginner piano and vocals. After I graduate I started my own company and teach privately and perform occasionally.

I teach a unique Russian piano playing method using arm weight to achieve an efficient, fluid technique that reduces strain and tension. I also teach music theory and composition.

He holds a Diploma in Sound Engineering from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and has over 8 years of teaching experience. Ajinkya is passionate about sharing musical knowledge and helping students develop strong technical skills, creativity, and confidence in music. I teaches piano following the Trinity College London syllabus and works with students of different age groups. Along with classical training, he also guides students in improvisation, ear training, and modern music techniques.
