I have been a performing musicians for over 53 years and counting. I have worked with the following Grammy winning artists: Carlos Santana, Eddie Palmieri, Gloria Estefan, Gloria Gaynor, Sergio Mendes and many many others. I have also created my own syllabus for teaching how to play the Conga drum, that I have used as an Adjunct Lecturer at the following institutions of learning.. University of Miami-Dept. of Perc. 1990-92. Music Works Bellevue WA. 2003-05-Latin perc., Cornish College of the Arts- Substitute teacher for the Latin ensemble, Shoreline .C C. Shoreline WA- Adjunct Lecturer 2012-2013. I am a versatile and experienced music educator and performer. Over the course of my musical career I have had the privilege of working in a variety of musical styles and venues, including: The Edinburgh Fringe with 'Saxtet'; The Derngate with Northhampton Symphony Orchestra; The Killerton Festival with The Drifters; Butlins with a variety of acts including Bucks Fizz and Jackie Graham; Sanctuary AG, Chicago as a solo singer/songwriter; and many more. I was a "Search for a Star" national finalist, 2001 and in the same year played Lieutenant Cable in South Pacific at the Embassy Theatre, Skegness. Up until February 2015 I lead many music departments at secondary level teaching GCSE and BTEC Level 2 with considerable success in helping his students to become productive musicians with a love for music. I consider my greatest educational achievement to be the Director of Specialist Music Status at William Lovell CE School. My main instrument is bass, trained at Birmingham Conservatoire, and offers both electric and double bass as a skilled reading player. I am able to accommodate most musical styles. In addition I am an accomplished singer, guitarist and pianist. I have been known to play in pit on percussion as well and can even play the Tuba!

Began playing guitar in primary school before moving to piano, learning his trade playing in church services. Played for a variety of Gospel groups and choirs, including writing, directing and arranging music for groups and the Gospel Aid National Choir. This led to writing and producing music and performing with top and prominent Gospel Artists, including a MOBO award winning gospel group. Qualified teacher and has taught music performance and technology at various colleges in London, whilst still continuing to work as a session musician, performing with many top UK and US artists. Has also written and produced music for BBC and Channel 4 TV programmes, as well as Managing up and coming artists. Plays Bass Guitar, Keyboard and Saxophone, and is currently enjoying working and travelling with Essex function Band TLS

I studied at Trinity College of Music where I gained a BMus (Hons) Degree and a Postgraduate Diploma. I was also awarded the Band/Kurtz award for viola playing, the Vera Kantrovich Prize for solo string playing and the Sir John Barbirolli Prize for string quartet. As a professional orchestral and chamber musician, I have worked with the Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Bergen Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, RTE National Symphony Orchestra and the BBC Scottish and BBC Concert Orchestras. I have also done session work performing alongside artists including McFly and various film and TV soundtracks. I have over 17 years experience teaching both the violin and viola from beginner up to diploma level and teach privately as well as in schools. I also teach music theory up to Grade 5 and beginner piano lessons.

I've been introduced to music at the very early age of 6 studying violin and, later on, piano as the second instrument to finally land, after several years, into drums and percussion. After accomplishing a Higher Diploma in Music Performance at the "Institute Of Contemporary Music and Performance" in London and a First Class Honours Bachelor Degree in Creative Music Performance at DIME Online "Detroit Institute of Music Education", I've had the chance to be working with great artists such as Sean Taylor, Wily Bo Walker and recently performing with the very famous Iranian singer Mansour on a TV Show here in London. The list of the master teachers I've had the change to study with features names like Gabor Dornyei, Paul Elliott, Mike Sturgis, Pete Riley, Fergus Gerrand, Chuck Sabo and Justin Scott.
