Marco William Duranti has been described as “a versatile musician, a classical guitarist who likes to look outside his window”. The gift of composition has led him to seek ideas outside the normal parameters of the classical guitar. His principal aim has always been to create new compositions for the classical guitar, rather than adaptations of music from other instruments or sources. He says “I like to implement and adapt ideas from the outside, mould them and make them a property of the guitar, rather than make the guitar a property of the transcription". At the same time, Duranti turns this idea on its head by taking ideas that come from the guitar and adapting them to other musical contexts. This is frequently his method in composing film scores or rock music. This approach comes from his early learning and family roots: his family were artist-artisans and had, as friends, opera, rock and classical musicians, painters and sculptors. He has an enduring love of 60's and 70's music of various styles, including the most beautiful period of classical music recordings. Duranti says he does not seek originality in music, but believes in the uniqueness of a composition stemming from many factors, including the character and ability of the performer. Duranti’s ideas are underpinned by a solid practical and theoretical education: he describes a “progressive and passionate study of music theory and the guitar” at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto under John Perrone and later in Rome under Mario Gangi. As a schoolboy, he also learned to play the blues from a street musician, giving him another perspective on the guitar. Duranti’s music career has suffered challenges and interruptions which have obliged him to explore new directions. He has made many original recordings, ranging from classical guitar to rock concept albums, and film music. He performed extensively in Italy for many years. Duranti says “this long journey is not over yet - I hope I will be able to produce more works and hopefully leave something worth mentioning!”

I have played the piano since the age of five. My B.Mus degree provided classical training in addition to studies in other music styles. I hold an Honours B.Mus degree for which I worked with children to provide a multimedia experience using a school classroom for the purpose. I spent 10 years as a lounge pianist touring South Africa and neighbouring countries. During this experience I embarked on my love of creativity through improvisation which I inspired to share with students. I have done a considerable amount of private piano teaching apart from class music teaching.

I’m Bill Roseman — guitarist, vocalist, composer, and lifelong student of the blues. I first picked up the guitar when I was 13 in South Jersey, inspired by the electric fire of Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, and classic blues masters. From those early days, I’ve never really put the instrument down. In the 1990s I made my way over to Europe and became involved with the Medford Slim Band, touring and playing festivals in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Switzerland, and beyond. Over time I’ve explored many corners of blues, rock, zydeco, harmonica blues — whatever felt honest and heartfelt. My latest album Outskirts is a project I poured myself into — eleven originals and one cover — and it reflects where I’ve been musically and where I hope to go. Beyond performing and recording, I believe in the power of connection through music — sharing what I know, learning from others, and keeping the tradition alive in fresh, personal ways. I've been teaching for the last 25 years or so. All styles, all levels offered. Specializing in getting beginners started right. Edita Randová is a renowned Czech mezzo-soprano and experienced vocal teacher with an international opera and concert career. She has performed across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Australia, including prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, and has collaborated with leading orchestras and conductors. She studied voice with Milada Musilová and Marta Boháčová and also trained in piano, giving her a strong musical and technical foundation. Her repertoire includes opera, oratorio, cantatas, masses, art songs, and contemporary music. She is the recipient of major cultural awards, including the Gustav Mahler European Prize and La Reconnaissance Culturelle Médaille d’Or Internationale. Edita has been teaching singing for more than 10 years. In her lessons, she focuses on healthy vocal technique, breath support, vocal flexibility, diction, musical expression, interpretation, and stage confidence. She helps students understand how to use their voice naturally and efficiently, while developing their individual sound and artistic personality. She works with singers of different levels, from beginners to advanced students, as well as performers preparing for auditions, concerts, exams, competitions, or professional engagements. Her teaching combines many years of international stage experience with a sensitive, individual, and supportive approach, helping each student discover, strengthen, and develop their own voice.

I am a music graduate from Oxford University and a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists. I have over 30 years experience of teaching all keyboard instruments (classical, jazz and pop) with many students gaining excellent results in ABRSM exams, and gaining music scholarships to major universities in the UK. I am happy to take on beginners and intermediate students as well as advanced, and happy to teach all ages. I also teach Theory of Music and have worked as an academic examiner in music. I have a wealth of professional performing experience as an organist and piano accompanist, with a recording ‘The Influence of Plainsong’ on Spotify, and recent live recording on YouTube: https://youtu.be/OPAPkEpDXxw. I teach in a school as Head of Keyboard Studies so I have all the necessary UK safeguarding training and my checks are up to date. I am available to teach most days and can be flexible. Stefan Nestoroski was born in 1992 in Struga (Macedonia), and started playing accordion at age of 7. He was studying accordion performance at Music High School DMU “Todor Skalovski – Tetoec” from 2007 to 2011. He continued the accordion performance studies at Academy of Music, Dance, and Fine Arts, Plovdiv Bulgaria and graduated in 2015. Despite classical and variety music, he was studying Bulgarian folk music as well. From September 2015 he is an accordion teacher in Music High School in Macedonia. During his education, he had regular performances, as a soloist and a member of chamber ensembles, at numerous concerts, festivals and competitions. From September 2015 he is an accordion teacher in Music High School in Struga Macedonia. He has been participating in the work of juries at numerous competitions at the republic, national and international level. His students often perform at concerts, important events, and also have a lot of prizes at republic, state and international accordion competitions. I am experienced, friendly and patient accordion teacher. I can offer you lessons for classical, variety, and traditional folk music from Balkan - Southeast Europe (Macedonia, Bulgaria, Serbia). I have experience of teaching children and adults from all ages.
