Hello, I'm Kata, a professional singer, graduated from Escuela de Música de Buenos Aires (EMBA), with previous studies at the Manuel de Falla Music Conservatory. I have been teaching vocal lessons for more than 8 years, and, since I'm an independent singer-songwriter the rest of the time, I've started teaching others how to make their own music too: from beginner music theory, to producing, mixing, recording, plus how to distribute your songs to music stores. For more than 8 years, I have been teaching vocal lessons to students of various ages and levels. I have worked both in music schools and as a private teacher. Everything I teach is based on what I've learned from teachers of different backgrounds over the years, as well as my personal experience as a vocalist and musician. I believe there's no such thing as not being cut out for a discipline. I always say: if you're not good at something, it just means you need more practice. I am a guitar teacher with over 6 years of teaching experience, working with students of different age groups and skill levels. My teaching journey began in Delhi, where I taught guitar offline in various schools and helped students develop a strong musical foundation through structured learning. Since the COVID period, I have been teaching online with reputed institutions, gaining extensive experience in conducting engaging and effective virtual lessons for students across different learning backgrounds. I specialize in beginner and intermediate guitar instruction, while also preparing students for Trinity and Rockschool grade examinations. My lessons focus on building strong fundamentals, improving technique, rhythm, musical understanding, and overall confidence in playing. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style according to the student’s goals, level, and pace of learning. Hello! I’m Elena, I’m Italian and I’m an opera singer, currently actively performing in the contemporary field. On top of my artistic career, which is now 20+ years old, I have 10 years of solid everyday experience in the musical teaching field, with particular regards for online teaching. My specialties are: teaching opera voice and kids’ vocality. For both of these, any level, even absolute beginner is 100% welcome! I’ve been training children and teens ever since I graduated from my position at La Scala children choir at 18 years old. I love working with kids, and it warms my heart to think of how many little faces I have already had the privilege of meeting thanks to this career. I have helped so many access to the children choirs of their respective cities, and with so many many others I have simply participated in their musical learning journey, which makes me equally proud and happy. Teaching adults is a completely different matter, of course, but it’s probably even more thrilling to me because it allows me to spend the day navigating the fascinating routes of lyrical singing technique. I know how opera studies can be confusing - to say the least; I try my best to represent a safe place for anybody who wants to explore this ancient form of art, as well as to clarify its key points and guide my students to building a correct repertoire. Everybody is different, so everybody has their own path to go through; I cater my lessons to the pupil’s needs, and even if the method is always classical, I make sure that the hour of lesson is a fun moment as well as a learning experience. I've been playing drums for 30 years. Some private lessons but mostly self taught. I have a Percussion and Chamber Music degree from the Astor Piazzolla music conservatory in Buenos Aires, Argentina (where I also studied Piano and Flute). I started teaching 20 years ago. I love songs, so my classes are focused on them. My students usually choose an instrument as main but they also learn some basics from the others ones I teach. And for the last 10 years I’ve been perfoming in musical, both off productions and big shows.

My approach draws from traditional Russian school methods alongside Suzuki and Rolland principles, woven together with more contemporary, creative ways of learning. I also bring my active performing career directly into the classroom, making each session as alive and musical as possible. Stylistically, I enjoy working across different worlds, from classical to folk and other contemporary styles, allowing each student to discover the sound and repertoire that resonates most with them. Many of my students have gone on to achieve excellent results in ABRSM exams, and where that is a goal, we will build a clear and realistic plan together. I welcome students of all ages. For younger learners from around seven years old, having a parent present during lessons creates a calm and encouraging atmosphere and allows progress to continue naturally at home, even without any prior musical knowledge. For adults, I truly believe it is never too late to begin. Many of my adult students find that regular practice becomes one of the most meaningful parts of their week. As a First Class graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and an active performer with several chamber orchestras and the Quartet Calders, I bring professional experience directly into my teaching. I have had the privilege of learning from some of the most inspiring pedagogues working today, including Mimi Zweig, Lutsia Ibragimova, Dora Schwarzberg and Boris Kuschnir, and this informs everything I offer my students.
