Background:

My name is Jack and I am a music graduate (BA hons Popular music studies) with an enormous enthusiasm for listening, learning, teaching and performing music. I have 20 years performance experience and I currently perform throughout the UK with a variety of Percussion groups, original and function bands. Alongside performing I have 10+ years experience of teaching the Drum set, from the beginner hobbyist to the advanced music student. All my lessons are tailored to individual needs and I aim to provide a fun programme of lessons to increase any player’s confidence and ability. I have a multi-sensory approach to teaching (Visual, Auditory, Read/write, Kinaesthetic) as I am a Dyslexic musician myself. I have found this to be successful for students without learning difficulties also. I am also fully CRB checked.
