Hi, I’m Dr. Jonathan Saraga — a New York City–based trumpeter, flugelhornist, composer, arranger, producer, and educator with more than two decades of professional performance experience and over a decade of teaching experience. I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts, Master of Music, and Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies/Trumpet Performance, and I have taught students of all ages and levels in private lessons, schools, intensive music programs, and university settings. My teaching experience includes jazz improvisation, trumpet, piano/keyboards, composition, arranging, music theory, ear training, songwriting, ensemble coaching, and music appreciation. As a performer, I have worked with Grammy-winning and Grammy-nominated artists, performed internationally, appeared on dozens of recordings, and taught masterclasses, clinics, and workshops for students ranging from complete beginners to advanced musicians. As an educator, my goal is to help students build confidence, creativity, discipline, listening skills, and genuine self-expression through music. I believe learning should be supportive, inspiring, interactive, and deeply personal, and I strive to create an environment where students feel both challenged and encouraged as they grow.

Daniel Hohm is an award-winning euphoniumist and brass educator offering lessons and performances across Europe. Based in Manchester, he teaches euphonium and all brass instruments in-person and online. His teaching is tailored to students of all levels — from adult learners to aspiring professionals — with a focus on efficient practice, musical confidence, and performance psychology.
