I have been teaching piano, voice and guitar for many years alongside my positions as Director of Music and Head of Arts in schools in South Africa, Oman, Germany and Austria. I recently married and moved to Dublin where I have been teaching Music Theory, Piano and Voice. I am a choral conductor and adjudicator and my choir from South Africa were World Champions in Folklore art the World Choir Games in 2000 and 2004 among many other International accolades. I am proficient in television performances and organising large scale concerts and performances. I have a passion for developing the best out of my students and seeing them develop into excellent musicians and performers.

I have worked as a piano and voice teacher for twenty years alongside a career as an accompanist and coach. I am a vocal coach at the Royal Academy of Music and Music Director for Opera projects at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and I can therefore coach Piano and Voice to Conservatoire level. I have also taught at the Hill House International Prep School in Knightsbridge (1995 to present) preparing the pupils for exams and concerts. I have been training singers in Germany for some years in online lessons and so I am well acquainted with teaching in this way. I also have a private teaching practice preparing students for ABRSM grade exams from 1-8.

I consider myself to be an eclectic musician meaning I appreciate and enjoy ALL styles of music. I have more than 20 years of performing, coaching, teaching, providing workshops, adjudicating all styles of singing that range from classical to pop to gospel to rock and much more. Edita Randová is a renowned Czech mezzo-soprano and experienced vocal teacher with an international opera and concert career. She has performed across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Australia, including prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, and has collaborated with leading orchestras and conductors. She studied voice with Milada Musilová and Marta Boháčová and also trained in piano, giving her a strong musical and technical foundation. Her repertoire includes opera, oratorio, cantatas, masses, art songs, and contemporary music. She is the recipient of major cultural awards, including the Gustav Mahler European Prize and La Reconnaissance Culturelle Médaille d’Or Internationale. Edita has been teaching singing for more than 10 years. In her lessons, she focuses on healthy vocal technique, breath support, vocal flexibility, diction, musical expression, interpretation, and stage confidence. She helps students understand how to use their voice naturally and efficiently, while developing their individual sound and artistic personality. I am a passion young musician with not only formal but informal education and experience too. I started my music career in primary school learning the piano and continued on to study music at the Nelson Mandela University. I added vocals to my formal training at university to enhance my vocal ability classically. I was part of a choir since primary school through to university joung the international acclaimed Nelson Mandela University Choir as a tenor. I have freelanced since 2016 as a Vocalist for backing and lead for live concerts formal and informal settings, as a tutor to beginner piano and vocals. After I graduate I started my own company and teach privately and perform occasionally.

Hello! I’m Elena, I’m Italian and I’m an opera singer, currently actively performing in the contemporary field. On top of my artistic career, which is now 20+ years old, I have 10 years of solid everyday experience in the musical teaching field, with particular regards for online teaching. My specialties are: teaching opera voice and kids’ vocality. For both of these, any level, even absolute beginner is 100% welcome! I’ve been training children and teens ever since I graduated from my position at La Scala children choir at 18 years old. I love working with kids, and it warms my heart to think of how many little faces I have already had the privilege of meeting thanks to this career. I have helped so many access to the children choirs of their respective cities, and with so many many others I have simply participated in their musical learning journey, which makes me equally proud and happy. Teaching adults is a completely different matter, of course, but it’s probably even more thrilling to me because it allows me to spend the day navigating the fascinating routes of lyrical singing technique. I know how opera studies can be confusing - to say the least; I try my best to represent a safe place for anybody who wants to explore this ancient form of art, as well as to clarify its key points and guide my students to building a correct repertoire. Everybody is different, so everybody has their own path to go through; I cater my lessons to the pupil’s needs, and even if the method is always classical, I make sure that the hour of lesson is a fun moment as well as a learning experience.
