I am Alexandre de Orio, music teacher from Brazil. I have a bachelor's dgree in Music and 3 post-graduation's degree in Music. I am Music Director in a School of Rock in Brazil. I was invited twice by Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music in India. I released a book about Brazilian Rhythm applied to Metal Guitar. I also released a pedagogical board game for string instrumentalists. I have lot of projects in Brazil. I play with some famous artists. I have a Electric Guitar Quartet called Kroma; a Gypsy Jazz duo; I played in a famous metal band in Brazil called Claustrofobia. Marco William Duranti has been described as “a versatile musician, a classical guitarist who likes to look outside his window”. The gift of composition has led him to seek ideas outside the normal parameters of the classical guitar. His principal aim has always been to create new compositions for the classical guitar, rather than adaptations of music from other instruments or sources. He says “I like to implement and adapt ideas from the outside, mould them and make them a property of the guitar, rather than make the guitar a property of the transcription". At the same time, Duranti turns this idea on its head by taking ideas that come from the guitar and adapting them to other musical contexts. This is frequently his method in composing film scores or rock music. This approach comes from his early learning and family roots: his family were artist-artisans and had, as friends, opera, rock and classical musicians, painters and sculptors. He has an enduring love of 60's and 70's music of various styles, including the most beautiful period of classical music recordings. Duranti says he does not seek originality in music, but believes in the uniqueness of a composition stemming from many factors, including the character and ability of the performer. Duranti’s ideas are underpinned by a solid practical and theoretical education: he describes a “progressive and passionate study of music theory and the guitar” at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto under John Perrone and later in Rome under Mario Gangi. As a schoolboy, he also learned to play the blues from a street musician, giving him another perspective on the guitar. Duranti’s music career has suffered challenges and interruptions which have obliged him to explore new directions. He has made many original recordings, ranging from classical guitar to rock concept albums, and film music. He performed extensively in Italy for many years. Duranti says “this long journey is not over yet - I hope I will be able to produce more works and hopefully leave something worth mentioning!”

II’m a third-generation drummer and bandleader from New York, now based in Barcelona. I started playing drums at age 8, picked up guitar at 14, and have been performing professionally since my early teens. I’m Bill Roseman — guitarist, vocalist, composer, and lifelong student of the blues. I first picked up the guitar when I was 13 in South Jersey, inspired by the electric fire of Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, and classic blues masters. From those early days, I’ve never really put the instrument down. In the 1990s I made my way over to Europe and became involved with the Medford Slim Band, touring and playing festivals in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Switzerland, and beyond. Over time I’ve explored many corners of blues, rock, zydeco, harmonica blues — whatever felt honest and heartfelt. My latest album Outskirts is a project I poured myself into — eleven originals and one cover — and it reflects where I’ve been musically and where I hope to go. Beyond performing and recording, I believe in the power of connection through music — sharing what I know, learning from others, and keeping the tradition alive in fresh, personal ways. I've been teaching for the last 25 years or so. All styles, all levels offered. Specializing in getting beginners started right. Since the COVID period, I have been teaching online with reputed institutions, gaining extensive experience in conducting engaging and effective virtual lessons for students across different learning backgrounds. I specialize in beginner and intermediate guitar instruction, while also preparing students for Trinity and Rockschool grade examinations.
