About Terry Blyth

I am a professional, qualified bass tutor with over twenty years’ experience teaching and inspiring students of all ages and abilities both privately and at music colleges across the country. I'm in regular demand as a session player, working with producers such as Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers) and Gary Kemp (Spandau Ballet) and artists such as Shelley Preston (Bucks Fizz), Chico and Denise Van Outen. And my work as a reading bass player demands a variety of styles from rock and pop, to dance and jazz, on stage and in studios. As well as being an experienced player with a Masters Degree in Music I am also a fully qualified teacher and DBS checked; you can have the confidence of learning with someone who is current in the music industry and also knows how to get the best out of each individual student.
