About Me I have been learning the drums since I was 11 (now 43) and have been through all the challenges and different aspects of playing from orchestral/concert to original touring bands, wedding/function bands, panto and dance shows, party bands and jazz to playing all over the world on cruise ships. I am overjoyed to be still playing and love encouraging others to play in whatever way they want to. My Teaching Approach My teaching style is to get to let the student show their current skills so I can guide them on ways to improve at a realistic speed while keeping them inspired and active in their practice. I see reading music as an essential tool for independent learning and encourage students to find their own material that we can work through together, that being grades or their favourite music. I have a charismatic and amiable nature, along with an open-minded and energetic personality, always friendly and eager to help to give you the tools you need to confidently grow at your own pace.
