About Nina Tolins

A highly sought-after vocal coach, Nina has guided many students to professional and academic success, including placements in NYSSMA & NAfME All County/All State Choirs, university programs, and professional auditions. Her students range from a Portuguese pop star, Bollywood singers, a Metropolitan Opera singer, multiple Broadway cast members, and performers in the Metropolitan Opera Children's Choir, to professional artists across jazz, rock, pop, country, blues, gospel, classical, and even rap genres. Nina is an Associate Coach and protégé of renowned multi-Grammy and Tony Award-winning vocal coach Katie Agresta. She holds a BFA in Jazz & Contemporary Music and Voice from The New School University and is a Billboard Award and multiple Song of the Year Awards winner. Nina studied opera with Prof. Kathleen Blix, jazz with Dr. Dave LaLama at Hofstra University, and various classical and contemporary genres, songwriting, and production with Billboard award-winner Elisa Hale and Grammy winners Harry Whitaker and Bob Stander.
